Adam Brookshire
Construction Inspector/Engineering Technician
Mr. Brookshire is a construction inspector and engineering technician for Gavel & Dorn Engineering. He has a broad range of experience including materials testing, construction observation, GIS mapping, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling. He assisted with construction inspection on the Charlotte Central Business District (CBD) sanitary sewer rehabilitation project, and also on a “find and fix” contract for the City of Shelby. His responsibilities on this project include observation of sewer main lining and manhole lining; witnessing vacuum tests of manholes, performing manhole inspections; mapping manholes using a Trimble Geo XT GPS receiver and transferring data to City mapping department specialists. He is skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, ArcView, and WinCan (CCTV data management) software.
