Mr. Chad Medaugh is construction inspector, home inspector, and construction materials technician for Gavel & Dorn Engineering. Mr. Medaugh recently provided inspection services for the City of Wilmington's James A. Loughlin WWTP Upgrade and Expansion project. His responsibilities on this $80M project included keeping track of quantities of work performed; observing the quality of the work to determine compliance with project specifications; coordinating with city of Wilmington plant personal to maintain optimum plant operation during the construction process; and monitoring the overall progress of the project for compliance with the work schedule.
Mr. Medaugh has also assisted with the inspection of more than 100 houses since he began working for the firm.
Mr. Medaugh is a veteran of the US Navy, where he was a technician operating and maintaining catapult equipment used on an aircraft carrier while on duty in the Persian Gulf. He also served as a quality assurance and safety inspector for hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam equipment for compliance with specifications.
