Dr. Dorn is a water resources engineer with over fourteen years of progressive experience in sanitary sewer collection system planning, modeling, design and rehabilitation; storm water drainage planning and design; watershed management; water quality monitoring/modeling. He is a registered professional engineer in North and South Carolina and Virginia. Dr. Dorn’s primary research interests involve the development and application of innovative computer-based systems analytic techniques to solve complex real-world problems in water resources engineering. He is the author of numerous technical papers and developer of various civil infrastructure design and analysis software tools.
